As you can see, the site is somewhat plain and boring, but I like it that way :-). Please find your way around the site by clicking on the links that are provided (ie. the bold text that becomes underlined on mouseover).
I have accepted an Assistant Professor position (as of July 2009) at the University of Graz in Austria (formerly Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz), the home of Joseph A. Schumpeter. The uni has won 9 Nobel Prizes, mainly in medicine and physics (check it out on Wikipedia by clicking here).
I completed my PhD in Economics in 2007 at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia and worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow in the School of Economics at UNSW for 1.5 years. My Doctoral Dissertation focused on the evaluation of some economic and statistical models of exchange rates and was supervised by Professor Adrian Pagan .
My research interests are in exchange rate modelling, international finance & open economy macroeconomics, small scale new Keynesian modelling, yield curve and interest rate modelling and financial econometrics in general. Lately, I have also started to work on a joint research project that evaluates the performance of equity fund managers which is lead by Professor Robert Hill and Jon Eggins.
