Welcome to the Economics Research Students' Association at the School of Economics, UNSW. Our main aims are:
- to encourage the exchange of information between research students in relation to academic and extra-curriculur activities
- to promote a research culture that nourishes personal bonds and reliance between students
- to be a formal channel of communication between the Head of School and the large group of research students in the School of Economics

School of Economics PhD students and ERSA members Renuka Sane and Abu Shonchy were selected to meet with 14 Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences and the Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Professor Yunus at the 3rd Lindau Meeting in Economic Sciences in August 2008. Renuka and Abu were two of the 300 students from around the world to attend this meeting.
